Why do some merhant items dissapear after a while? I noticed that Maira's milena is gone. Toxicangel has gotten rid of alot of his items as well. is there like a time limit for items on sale on renderosity?

Yes. If an item does not sell for 90 days it is removed by Renderosity. Also, many artists remove low selling items

So it's not possible to buy items that are taken off? Is it possible to contact the artist and buy it directly from him or her?

Some may have moved to other stores, for personal or "political" reasons.

In some cases people have been given the items for free, but that's a very rare occurence, some of the merchants really do use the sales to live :)

You can always ask the merchant if the item is still somewhere they know it best
