Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 7:38 pm)
Between Ziggie and Zippo I have a collection of hospital stuff that can't be beat!!! Noticed that there are even hospital "scrub" uniforms now in the REN Store. To bad they are just for P4- but I guess I could use my P4-Mike and P4 Vicky characters--- One more item needed- a project for the car and truck model makers- a really good Poser Emergency Ambulance! (Maybe also an ERC IV too would be nice)
theres an army ambulance with 4 stretchers and oxygen cylinder on IW43d.com It was on sale recently for 25 dollars. I don't know if it still is. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
If ya get a Poserworld subscription you can have scrubs for V2 and V3. While you are at it ask for a doctors getup since I am not currently a subscriber but will be after the start of the new year. ^_- Thanks Ziggie. This is what I've been waiting for. This will completely sell my scene. You will be featured prominently in the credits for your generosity I promise you. :D
Great looking ward Ziggie! Love esther

Thanks for the links, BillyGoat. The first one was a bit pricy at $40+ for a low-poly model. The second link was really interesting, especially because I could use 3D Explorer to convert the OpenFlight format to OBJ. The models are very low poly too, but FREE. The use for them would be in a Dystopia scene (you can download parts of it for free in Free Stuff)- because they could be used to fill city streets- and at a distance you wouldn't notice the low-poly look. (Search for "Dystopia" in Free Stuff) I'll have to go back and get some more of the OpenFlight models. I still hope CODY does a full-blown Poser Ambulance with working doors, etc. Especially if it could handle a gurney (I think there is one still there in Free Stuff- done by Anthony Hernandez- but not sure). Certainly would need an Easy-Pose IV, however. (Search for "Gurney" in Free Stuff.) Trekkie Girl has a morphable blanket for covering a person on a stretcher or gurney- thats free on her website. http://trekkiegrrrl.dk/
By the way Estherau, I went back to check on the IW43D.COM ambulance and the one I think you are talking about is the Hummer set. I did buy that a couple of weeks ago and its a nice model, with opening doors, etc. I wanted the military versions, but I'm also going to convert a couple of the Hummers (and the ambulance) to civilian versions- such as for Mountain Rescue type operations. They ALSO have a low-poly civilian Ambulance- for $45- and I have no interest in that one. So CODY, please build your ambulance. I don't think you have any serious competition!
Oh, well I thought I actually bought the hummer ambulance but I can't find it and I'm wondering if I forgot to download it so I wrote to IW43d and they haven't written back. If I do have it I would love to share your conversion. But I still will buy CODY's one if he makes it. Love esther

I just got an email from IW43d and they said I did buy it, so now they will let me download it. I don't know how I lost it before but If this thread hadn't started I might never have remembered. Love esther

Snoozing it's way into Free Stuff... zzzzz.... zzzZZZZZ... I had to delete the ERC's that linked some parts as they wouldn't work in P4. All relevant parts still move... just that they have to be moved individually now. P4 users will need to convert 2 jpg files to bum maps as detailed in readme file. ziggie ziggie"You don't have to be mad to use Poser... but it helps"
