Content Advisory! This message contains nudity, violence

I am new to poser. I have never really used a progrma like poser. I can do the basic but thats about as far as it goes. So if someone could point me to great beginner sites that would be great. I also need to learn how to place some of the freebie stuff into poser. Thank You kindly

Welcome! Not sure how far along you are, so you might check link at the top of this page, just under the big "Welcome to the Poser Forum" Poser Forum FAQ

welcome.... I can't direct you into any general direction but I know if you do a web search for "poser tutorials" you will find some beginner tuts. You will also find that the people here are very helful and if you ask someone will answer. --Essie

If you're not already familiar with the DAZ site, you could look at the tutorial section there. It's called Arcana. mac

... and search for "Primer" or "geep". Dr Geep has made dozens of step-by-step tutorials, and some of the earliest cover those portions of the toolset you'll need the most (like the materials dialogue box and lighting). He also has a simple chart showing what sorts of files go where (useful for placing freebies if they balk). A second comment is: don't use nudity or violence flags in hopes of attracting more eyes. Those are filters, limiting the number of viewers who will see your post (just exactly what you don't want!). Carolly
