Hi, I bought Bryce two months ago and now I'm taking lessons in Bryce at an online site. I find this program just fantastic! It's my first 3D application. I also work with Photoshop and I took a semester of Corel Painter 8, but I totally lack hand drawing abilities (meaning what I had on my mind usually looked like a garbage bag on paper... !!) My native language if french (Montreal, Canada). So accept appologies for the mistakes I'm likely to make. I posted a link to my classroom work, but there's really nothing to compare with your work... ! Ray

Welcome. I remember that when i first started out, i was so surprised at how helpful and nice everyone was. I am sure that you will find the Bryce community very nice. Just a tip: dont compare your work with someone elses, who has been in the 3D game for years! this can sometimes be the most discouraging thing for a beginer. But by all means, look at someones work, and try to think how you could do something similar, but not coping the original work entirely. It is a good way to learn. I am currently teaching a class of 9 pupils here in South Africa how to use Bryce. And they are loving it too! So if you ever need anything, I, as well as many others i am sure, will be more than happy to help you. Once again, welcome

Welcome from the Westcoast of Canada!! I have only had a year with Bryce and without the help and good feedback from this community would still be making balls and tubes.You will find the members here full of ideas and will provide links to find tutorials. Ray, Welcome aboard. I'm sure it will be a pleasure to watch you progress through Bryce. Don't be afraid to post your work and encourage comments - It's one of the best ways to learn how others see your work and work out any problems you may be having with Bryce. I haven't yet checked your link, but I will as soon as I've posted this. cheers, - TJ

Welcome aboard, I started using Bryce somewhere between last September to November, I think(and still haven't bothered making a gallery posting), so don't feel discouraged if you think it'll take forever to learn. I had a fairly firm grasp of Bryce within the first few months, thanks to the forum members here. And yes, as mloates said, it's great to have another Canadian here, eh?
