Can anyone guide me to pasting bmp's to a poser figure in POSER 5 materials room? Any help is appreciated. I tried using UVMapper to take the texture map to Adobe Photoshop and paint in OR cut n paste the bmps' parts of images to the texture map, but the UVMapper couldn't give me a proper outline of the figure. So how am I suppose to cut n paste texture maps to a figure?

Well, I;m not sure about cut and pasteing texture maps. Normally you "load" them (open them) to a material. The Poser 5 manual explains how to go about this. Otherwords you need to save the map from photoshop as a jpeg, or other image file and then load it. This way Poser has a "real" image file to use. At time of rendering it loads this image and renders it however it is mapped to 3D object. It really needs an actual image file.

Over at Poser Pros (www.poserpros.com) theres a tutorial on applying textures to a figure in Poser 5 (http://www.poserpros.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6969) also there is a tutorial on how to make textures for a figure (http://www.poserpros.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4030) Chris Cox

I was thinking of using a bmp image of another model, and utilizing that image areas to cut n paste body parts to Poser 5. I guess the software isn't powerful enough at the moment.
