Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 08 9:27 am)
heyas; you dont need more memory, you're just getting a standard poser error. lemme guess.... it happens when you try to load a figure? if it says you are out of memory, that means the obj file for the figure isn't where it thinks the obj file is supposed to be. you need to check the cr2 (you can open it in a txt editor) and see where it is pointing to the obj, then look in your runtime directory to see if the obj is there. if it IS there, look in the same directory as the obj, and find the .rsr file with the same name. delete that and try again. if it is somewhere else, you either have to move (or copy) it to where the cr2 thinks it is. or else edit the cr2 to point to the other location. there are usually two lines in the cr2 that have the obj location, make sure you get them both. if it doesn't exist, you need to get the obj. note, if you downloaded a character for a victoria or something, they won't work unless you own (buy) victoria (or whatever commercial figure it is), first.
