lol ok, I'll jump on the wagon finally...lol TONS of great pics....very hard to choose just 3...lol but, here's my shot at trying... mboncher - 3pts. (loveee all that fire and the reality) chohole - 2 pts. (am part cherokee, so this picture moved me alot) gregsin - 1 pts (great pic, very nice detail) and tonsssssss of honorable mentions... :)
WOW, its just too hard to pic 3, and nearly impossible to pick a first place out of the 3, you all did really well in this challenge. Gregsin--3 Points BrittMccary--2 Points TJohn--1 Point (Because your image may well be the end of history, it nearly blinded me to look at it.....its sooooo bright I dunno how you could work on this without some shades on) Teri R
Ooooh, this is so hard. I entered for the first time, so I figured I'd better vote too! (forgive all the words pls!)There were a couple that I really wanted to add, for the technical ability OR artistic sense (now I see why some sports have technical and artistic scores!).
But just in terms of "I like it" I had to vote like this:
kosv01 :3 points - I was astounded
chohole :2 points - excellent depiction of the mood
gevidal :1 point - liked the sense of a new day dawning, along with the traditional "children's version" of the scene
By the way, see my gallery for the full description of my amateur attempt and all the credits (oops) - I was in a rush to get it in under the wire and didn't post very good text.

Some excellent works this month. The three that rose above the crowd in my opinion are: 3 points: Creations (Just a phenominal atmosphere & color) 2 points: Gregsin (Outstanding action and lighting) 1 point : Airflamesred (Love the subject and composition) Honorable mentions go out to Brittmcary, ICM, Sackrat, Chohole and Claymor
I got it down to nine...then down to three...then I went to lunch and had to start over when I came back....pfffft. Great work this month folks, fun challenge!!!! mboncher - 3points djmoore - 2points gevidal - 1point These were the three that kept me coming back for more looks. wow....still hard to commit to a choice so I'm hitting the Post Reply button now.
Well, as usual, its always hard to choose from so many fine pieces of artwork from so many talented artists. I know its tough when I have to dwindle down from a list of 12 taking some out, putting some back in again for the better part of an hour and half. But, here it goes; 3-kosv01 2-gregsin 1-ICM With most definitely honorable mention going to those pieces that made it all that more difficult to make a final decision, and they are; Creations chohole catlin_mc tjohn Wonderful work submitted by everyone!
man, wish I could have entered this month's challenge. Excellent work all. Love to vote for a lot more, but can only chose 3. So here they are: 3pts - Kosv01 - amazing image!! bravo, I love the action you have created. Top notch! 2pts - Baher - Very good depiction of one of the most important events in this nation's history. I tried to do a similar image in Bryce a year or two ago and must say that mine never looked nearly this good. 1pt - ICM - Love the movement you have created here. Excellent flow and overall composition! Good job guys!

Voting day is like going to the movies, 'round here... 3pts - Kosv01 2pts - Gregsin 1pt - Chohole It's very difficult to choose, of course, I love many of these images! Serious props to RJ, for his mad modeling skills, and to TJohn for his RIDICULOUS Nuke! (Do you know how long i've been trying to pull that one off!!!!) Can't wait to see what you people come up with next!

Wow, some great images. With appologies to some, I have to keep to the theme of "recorded" history. So here goes... 3 points to kosv01; beautifully executed work. I get goosebumps watching the battle unfold. 2 points to ICM; exceptional image, I especially love the iguana as the focal point... you definitely have a grasp of the American Southwest. 1 point to DGEbel. I remember being transfixed in front of our Black and White TV when Neil Armstrong uttered those amazing words, "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." Beautiful image, really. This was a really hard challenge to judge...as always! Everyone was really great. 3 points . DGEbel...the moon shot! 2 points . sackrat...Little Round Top 1 point . chohole...Trail of Tears. I really liked so many others that the honorable mentions would be the rest of the list, lol. Tres
