Subject: Brush problem

Well finally after about one month on looking for a brush I find and download it ! Then I add it and to my surprise...I DIDNT WORK ! :( The brush is for psp 7 and I got 6 :( Is there any way of converting this brush ? The brush was used in the "From Live to Statue" tutorial. Plz help :s Happy rend's ~GI

sorry no way that doesn't require ver7...

Adobe revamped the brush engine to give more dynamics and because of this, you can't go backwards. This means even if the brush doesn't make use of the dynamic settings ver6 won't open it.

The "workaround" is to create the brush in ver6... but to do this you need to "use" it in ver7, (select the brush, paint a spot on your blank canvas) and save the file. Open it in ver6, select the area and "define" your brush.

...anybody think of another way???

This seems like the very best method. Or maybe some programmer type of dude has created some fancy script that can lift the right part of the definition to do it easier. But for now I think that any script writing would take longer than point - click - select - define by hand.
