Photoshop F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 6:58 am)
Our mission is to provide an open community and unique environment where anyone interested in learning more about Adobe Photoshop can share their experience and knowledge, post their work for review and critique by their peers, and learn new techniques while developing the skills that allow each individual to realize their own unique artistic vision. We do not limit this forum to any style of work, and we strongly encourage people of all levels and interests to participate.
Checkout the Renderosity MarketPlace - Your source for digital art content!
What I think you did was put your new actions in the PresetsPhotoshop Actions folder which is the default folder and cause each .atn filename to display. First, remove the actions from that folder and put it elsewhere (outside of the Presets folder or anywhere on your computer) and restart Photoshop. Click on "Create a new set" icon at bottom of the Actions palette and from that menu select "Load Actions".
Thank you so much dreamer. That is just what I did. Warm Regards, Nancy

Hi, Actions are a series of postwork options that change a render or photograph. The actions are set as a group so you always get the same effect when you click a particular one. Hope this helps. Warm Regards, Nancy

Hello,
This is my first post to this particular forum and I do apologize if this question has been answered before.
I download free actions from Adobe exchange. Some are rather good but some I do not care for and wish to remove them.
I have no problem removing them from the Actions section ( the box) but the name of the Action still shows up when I click the side bar. What is happening is that the area is being filled up with the names of the Actions and some will not fit.
Is there a way to remove the names of the Actions from this list please? It is the area then when you first add them, you have to click on it to get it go into the actual action box.
I am not comfortable clicking the buttons as I am not familiar with them all.
I hope I sound clear on this. Thanks so much in advance.
Here is a picture of what I wish remove of some of the action names.
Warm Regards,
Nancy (SophiaDeer)
