Well, I got my new computer yesterday(gave my old one to my girlfriend a couple of days ago). But then as i open the box containing the case I find the case with a big nasty dent, making it impossible to use. Now I will have to send the whole thing back, and wait another week or two before i can do any brycing. That pisses me off. It even say "Handle With Care" on the f**king box.

That bites big time, For your computer to have a dent init after taking it from its box says the people deliverying to you need to go back to class on takin care of peoples stuff. I know its easy for me to say but you will be up and running b4 you know it. Peace

Was there visible damage on the outside of the carton? If so, I would have not signed for it, refused delivery of it, and made the carrier send it back. The carrier would then have had to pay the damages to the manufacturer. On the other hand, if there was NO visible damages on the outside of the carton, this means the dent happened during packing or production and should NOT have been sent to you. If they knew this damage existed and sent it to you anyway, would you really WANT a computer from this company? I sure as hell wouldn't. I'd tell them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine and find myself a different PC manufacturer.

Yeah, I'm going through a tough time, too. A couple of weeks ago my monitor went kaput. I only had it for 3 months, so my warranty was still good, but now things are looking kind of iffy because the company that sold it to me didn't fill out the invoice properly. It also doesn't help that the people from the warranty division in AOC, the monitor company, never seem to be in...

I also have that same monitor problem, Antevark! Well, maybe not exactly, but I love my huge Impressionz... ANd it just died, no reason. And "warranty" means mailing a 60 lb monitor to California, of all places...

Sorry to hear about your case, Svaelt. Having been in the shipping business for some time with one of the 'BIG' names, I can tell you from experience that 'Volume' is the Holy Grail for them with so much competion snapping at their profit picture. That being the case, 'FRAGILE' is low on the priority scale but 'speed and piece count' are #1 to getting a better bottom dollar picture. Bottom line, make sure you check the delivery over thoroughly if possible and do so before the delivery service leaves like TerraDreamer suggested. Saves YOU the added expense and trouble of having to do the legwork yourself after the fact. Better luck next time. Bob

I ordered Cinema 4D and it was delievered via one of the ground services .. they have big brown trucks but I don't want to name names. LOL When the driver knocked on the door he just handed me the package and had me sign the board. He didn't ask me my name, who I was or anything. I just signed for it and that was it. $600.00 worth of software could have gone to anyone and the driver wouldn't have known any different.

That sucks. Maybe you find some comfort in the idea that some people are off even worse :)
