Subject: Want some armor reference pictures?

I took a bunch of pictures of real medieval armor during my vacation and I'm offering them up as reference pictures if anyone is interested. Some of the armors were in glass cases, so there's a few pictures with a bit of reflection, but they should work as reference pictures.

It's 22 pictures - 9MB download - so I'm posting the link in some of the modelling forums instead of just putting it in freestuff. Feel free to use the pictures as you'd like, just don't sell the pictures themselves. (Not that they're worth selling as is.) If you do make armor using the pictures, I'd appreciate a copy but it's not a requirement. If 9MB is too large, please IM me and I can break up the pack into smaller downloads.

Here's a small version of one of the pictures - they range from about 900 x 900 to 2000 x 2000 pixels.

Cheers!

Thanks Crescent, I was hoping to try my hand at modeling armor in the near future. These should help. A bit fuzzy but lots of closeups.

How thoughtful, Thank you Crescent! I live not far from the Museum of Natural History and have been meaning to get myself there to do just this, so seeing this made my day. Thanks again!

Thankyou, that's really kind.
