It worked for my animation after few problems. The link is my animation using a dynamic cloth. I like Cloth Room. It is great.

The cloth is from Sergemarck.
Victoria could wear Judys cloth with no adjustment.

Now, I am wondering why only few dynamic cloth are available.
Modelers dont like dynamic cloth?

Wow I don't know alot about the whole animation part of poser,or dynamic cloth, but I love what you have done there! It's very cool, and the music goes so well too lol. Just thought I'd put my two cents worth in about it! :)

I don't think it is a problem of modelers not liking dynamic cloth. I think it is more a case of lack of demand for these products. I too wish there was more avaliable. Just give it more time. I think that once more artist realise that it is not so hard, there will be more demand. Until then, keep requesting projects from those who do make dynamic products. Then post as much of your end results as possible. So others can see what can be done.

Other resources besides Sergemarck are PhilC, Nerd and hmann. There are probably others that I am not aware of.

I have had Poser 5 for months now and am just getting into the Dynamic cloth section myself. I have been playing around with the cloth square that came with poser. Making saddle blankets and throws with it. It has been fun and educational. I also have most of Sergemarck's dynamic dresses. Though I only have one completed picture so far. I do stills for now. Animations are out of my grasp. Though I am slowly building up to them.

With a bit of work, you can convert some conforming clothing in dynamic clothing. PhilC has written a tutorial about that.

PhilC's is good tutorial, Hmann has one too. What I like, I'm able to make morphs for the clothes and get almost anything to fit any figure. Even with my limited modeling skills, I can make my own clothes and make them fit right. Don't forget PoserWorld has dynamic clothing as well.

Och, don't yo wonder. One we have the Pentium 5000 version 6000 and with enough RAM to reach the moon we'll be able to render a minute of dynamic hair and clothing on Vic 7000. LOL. Untill then I'l hire the P4-Lo figures to do my movies.

I like dynamic cloth, and it can't be beat for animations. But it is awfully resource-intensive. I suspect most Poser users do still images, not animations. For still images, really well-made conforming clothes are still better than the cloth room, if only because it's so much faster. And a lot of people are still using P4, and can't use dynamic cloth. Naturally, the merchants prefer to make items that can be used by everyone. I bought Nerd's Princess Wrap, and I really love it. It's so much fun. It's also a fairly small, simple item, so it drapes pretty quickly.

I have dynamic clothing packs in store here and at 3dcommune ( both different packs) I too love the cloth room it is by all means a fanastic addition to poser...now the hair room that is a different pile all together LOL

Thank you for your useful inputs.

I ordered Poser5 before it released. But, I began to use Cloth Room only a few days ago.I understand that many people dont use Cloth Room yet.

I think it is especially good for animation. Due to the recent developments of high speed computer, and broad band internet connection, animation will attract more people. Poser in nature will shine in animation.(only my opinion)

I should try to convert some conforming clothing in dynamic clothing.
It is also nice if modelers make more dynamic clothes.I am going to buy dynamic clothes.

Thanks again.
Himico.

Have you seen Nerd3d's great dynamic clothing and animations? He's got a cool Halloween one up now. (See the link.) He also did a great animation of his Kidakkamen Wrap: http://www.nerd3d.com/Store/Kida/KidaAnm.htm

Thank you randym77.
It is very nice.
I am thinking to get his dynamic clothing.

I think I'm going to buy some, too. His prices are amazing. $5 for each outfit, when a lot of people charge twice that, for clothes that aren't as nice.

ladydrakana is so right. Thanks so much for showing your own results as I'm now looking forward to playing in the Cloth Room and dynamic cloth - and Nerd3D's Hellvira was just great randym77 :)

Definitely give the cloth room a try. It's not as difficult as it seems at first. Nerd includes a cloth room tutorial with his dynamic clothes. I could never figure out the cloth room until I bought his princess wrap and followed the tutorial that came with it. You can see it free on his web site. (See link.)
