Subject: Anyone here working with PhilC Caftan on Poser4?

It seems that the Caftan is very hard to pose in Poser4. Anyone who tried this and has hints for me? Any help is appreciated. regards - Tintifax

I'm no expert - but what sort of pose are you trying to achieve?

Simply lowering the hands on the side. I also have PhilC's cheongsam dress and this is much easier to post. Just ordered Poser5 Upgrade yesterday. It seems that it can handle such complex clothes much better.

You could cheat and turn the Caftan into a "mini." See the image in my gallery I found that you cannot lower the arms too much. Basically, you have to play with the twist on the shoulder and collar to keep the caftan pointed downward. It would be helpful if the back and front could be adjusted separately.

I've seen some nice pictures with the Caftan, but they all seem to use Poser5. Making a mini isn't a bad idea. Thanks - Walter

Nice picture, by the way...

Thank-you, Tintifax! Both were done in P4. Good luck with P5.
