I need a fishing vest, other then the 2 that are in the free stuff section here on renderosity under "fishing" I don't know why, but I followed the instructions about where all the files go. It shows up in my list, but Theres no picture to click on to add it to my scene. I'm also looking for a fishing hat, or something similar. I'm also having trouble with sharkeys indian headdress. It refuses to work for me as well. It has no instructions, so I basicly tryed everything I could think of. It don't self extract either. All your help would be appreciated.

Forgot to also mention that I'm looking for some hair for the P4 Man. Some type of long Conan type hair, or something similar. I was also thinking one of the military vests may work as a fishing vest, I'm gonna try that. If anyone has links to some good vests military or whatever that would be great. Just as long as it looks similar to a fishing vest with pockets/pouches on it.

The fishing vests here, work just fine, I suspect you have named your folders wrong or placed them in the wrong ones? Sharkey's head-dress is an object (the one I have is anyways} so you have to load it by selecting, import and choose wavefront obj. and then scale it to fit what-ever character you want to use it on. Poserworld has a fishing hat and vest so if you have a subscription it is located in the P4 mens clothing section. I don't know about the Conan hair? genny

I dont have a subscription to poserworld no =. I didnt know the headdress had to be imported dang, thats why I couldn't get it to work. Could you tell me where all the files go for the fishing vest? I did it like it said, named the folders like it said. There was that one file though, I didn't know where it went. The readme gives instuctions for all the files but that one. I cant remember what it was now. Lemme dl it again and I'll repost what file it was.

Fishingvest7bump.jpg is the file that it dosen't say where it should go. I just put it in my textures folder. Please tell me where it should go and I'll try it again.

Ok, un-zip your files and put them where you can find them or if you have XP you should be able to view the contents by clicking the zip. Anyways.....inside you will have three files: Geometries, Libraries and Textures. Open the Geometries file and you will find a folder called trout. Copy this folder, just as it is to your runtime/geometries folder in Poser. Next open your folder that is called Libraries, inside you will find a folder called Trout-fishing. Copy this folder just as it is into your runtime/Libraries/Characters folder in Poser. Do the same thing for the Textures, copy the contents to your texture folder of Poser and yes....you can put the Fishingvest7bump.there too. (: Hope that helps. genny

Nice, it worked that time. Thanks man. If you, or anyone else knows where I can get a fishing hat or something similar free I would appreciate it very much.

http://www.3dmenagerie.com/ has hair based on Braveheart, looks alright on Conan too.... Digital Babes has some long hair that looks great. Both of these might need alittle scaling and postioning to fit your character.

That may not be Sharkey's headdress... looks more like the whole shark to me! ;) A fishing hat should be easy to make. Find a hat of the right general shape (varies according to region), and then add a half-dozen small widgets to the brim (shrink anything interesting). You can dab them with the paintpot for a spot of color. The hat doesn't even have to be a man's hat. Maclean made a bunch of soft hats including a cloche IIRC over at 3dcommune. Carolly
