Subject: Important information

In bryce in the presetsobjectsuser drawer there are temporary files left after you use bryce. They have .tmp at the end of the name. You can safely delete these. Dont delete the .obp files If you delete the temporary files you can save HUNDREDS OF MEGABYTES of disk space. Bryce makes these temporary files even if you import objects and dont save them as presets. --I hope this isn`t basic information that everyone knows already. :) --

I don't see'em. When I open the folder the only thing that's in my user preset folder is the .obp file, it seems

There isnt always tmp files in the drawer but there is some of the time i deleted 300 megabytes of temporary files. It might only happen when bryce crashes or you may be lucky.

yeah, if bryce crashes you get those files. sometimes you can open them and recover scenes lost by the crash

These tmp files are a strange thing. Most of the time you don't see them but once in a while they can mount up to giant size. I only had a problem with them once and that was before I got the upgrade, it's behaved itself pretty well ever since. 8) Catlin
