CityScapes 3, pictured, is nearly finished, and it's just dawned on me that with the other pieces in the series, the scope is there for a small town now, and the expansion looks set to continue into a full blown city.... but... this town has no name! so....name the city and win the whole series so far, including the first copy of Cityscapes 3. Anyone that has earlier sets from this series can choose alternate items for the ones they already have. Easy. :-) contest closes when Cityscapes 3 gets released, next week sometime.

Although goddesses and queens (such as Charlotte, Elizabeth, and Victoria) all have plenty of towns named for them, this isn't a feminine or courtly sort of place. It's very industrial, and its patron is more apt to be Vulcan. (I'm using the Roman rather than the Greek name, since the town is laid out on a nice grid preferred by Roman engineers all over The Known World.) Vulcanville Lossun Foundry Weyland's Worke Now the punster in me would strike further afield. Tubitton, for example. Two bits = a quarter and this town is made of quarters. Of course, the eight pieces of a dollar were also called reals... so there is another tie to "real estate". But, for saleability, something more obvious will be needed. Carolly
