Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.
Where computer nerds can Pull out their slide rules and not get laughed at. Pocket protectors are not required. ;-)
This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.
New users are encouraged to read the FAQ sections here and on the Poser forum before asking questions.

If you have the 3.01 updater, your instances of C exception should be much reduced - but I found that a few items of clothing that were meant for Poser 4 would still cause it, and never did find out the reason. The easiest way to fix it (in my opinion) is to create a new CR2. This is relatively easy for Poser 3 since you don't need to worry about conforming, just posability. I used to make a master CR2 from the appropriate figure (see link), then make it refer to the clothing obj file. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Can anyone tell me what this is, it happens when I try to open and use the clothes figures that I have downloaded. There are occasions when I have opened one item of clothing e.g. Left Boot but the R Boot comes up with this error message. Iam using Poser 3 with the upgrade installed. Please advise
