Thanks for all the feedback everyone. >> Not the one with the big arches, the one with all the neat CG tools. Well, you've already got Bryce, so, do you mean the blue table cloth ??? :p Just head over to you're local party store, buy a $12 roll of blue plastic table cloth and stick it on the wall. Here's a pic, and a link to the tutorial on how to build the whole thing with around $30 in supplies. (...and yes, all the bacgrounds in the example pics at the end are Bryce renders.) Have fun. :)Fantastic! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am in the process of planning a video for my band incorporating video and Bryce animation and some of the band members are a bit skeptical that it can be done. I have a feeling that all that will change the minute I show them this clip from your shoestring mega-production! This just goes to show that with careful planning and lighting(not to mention excellent modeling chops), DV and Bryce combined can yield pro results. Forgive me if I'm rambling but this has given me a thrill you can't believe!
OKAY, XceiverX, this is ALL Padawan Nick's work, I noticed you referred to it as mine in your post.... Thanks, Nick, for slayin me down with your ridiculous blue-screening! I knew it was possible, only thus-far-unfulfilled... Great work! I do enjoy the new techniques you are bringing to the Bryce field, you have a lot to share and it's gonna be grand.... (bows to you) Keep it up, compositing is tedious but WELL worth it! (no one's ever made a thread just FOR ME!!!!)

First of all... Thanks to everyone for all the great feedback on the images I've posted thusfar. I know I'm the newbie around here, and quite frankly most of you have Bryce skills well beyond what I can muster. Yet you have all made me feel very welcome, thank you. Shadowdragonlord's last comment in my gallery suggested that I get some characters into the scene, so I thought I'd oblige with an image and a link.... The image is a full resolution frame grab from the final scene this model is used in. Video of the performers was shot in front of a blue table cloth in my basement and then composited into the Bryce environment with Media Studio Pro. The link is a 3 meg Quicktime video showing the first 30 seconds of the scene. (given the file size, it may be easier to do a "Save file as..." to get the link down to your hard drive and then just play it from there.) Thanks again. Have fun.
