Subject: Experiment with lighting

This picture was done with the camera set at f/32 for 4/s. ISO 100(not long enough to get a good exposure). I set the camera up on a tripod aiming down at the coin on an index card. I used the timer shooting mode so I could get ready with a flash off camera. When the exposure started, I just chose a few spots (8 maybe) around the coin to illuminate from most angles. I was pleased with the results.

Just posting anything interesting I run across with my experimentation. Feel free to post any interesting things you guys have done to take pictures.

Not sure exactly what you did. (the text is difficult to read against my bachground), but the results are quite nice. Good detail over the entire field of focus, which is difficult to achieve.
