Thanks lululee...this took me forever...I wanted to add some fog...but when I did hubby said it looked like crap...I still think the fog would look OK....But...THANKS AGAIN!!!!!! :)

nice render :) just calibr your lights (anbience.)... maybe a little bit of mist shall be ok:) but it wonderfull image:) Benettor

Add my kudo's. ;) A little fog in the background would work, if you maybe shifted your lighting color a bit. Maybe more towards the blue end of the spectrum, to get that light that you can't really tell if it is daytime or bright moonlight. You might also want to play around with a volumetric cloud plane just above the ground. It will really increase the render time, and you would have to add some lighting to emphasize it, but that might be the effect you're thinking of....

I just love that tree with a face! I think your picture looks great as it is, but try playing around with light and fog anyway - I think you are right about wanting to add that, it would give the picture a more mysterious look.

Thanks guys...will work some more on the lighting. When I had the fog...the horizon line becomes VERY defined....any ideas on how to get rid of that???? Thanks again for all wonderful comments!!!! :)

Maybe you could fake the fog, using a sphere and a volumetric texture... see what I mean on the attached pict. cheers.

That looks GREAT.....cool idea...never thought of that!!!! DOH!!!!! At least your way I can avoid the horizon line!!!! Thanks Polax :)
