Ok guys I've managed to fit the head on the V2 body pretty well using Yamato's tutorial but I have run into a problem (circled in the immage above), it happens when the arm is bent, and something similar happens with the legs also I don't know much about modeling but I belive it might have to do something with the geometry file. now I ask the experts how do I fix this and can it be fixed within Poser?

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

The joint parameters (JPs) got messed up a bit. Select the collar and go to Window: Joint Editor. You'll have to play with the settings a bit to get it to work right. My guess is that the Bend Falloff sphere needs to be adjusted slightly. I'm almost a newbie with JPs so I can't be more specific than that. Once thing I'd try is loading V2 and your hybrid into the scene at the same time and see if there's any difference in location between the two meshes. P5 was a bear for me - it kept subtly moving V3 around which seriously hosed up the JPs. I gave up and went to PPP and it worked perfectly the first time. I had to adjust the JP's slightly with my AnimeM3 because the head was higher up than in the original mesh so the neck kept breaking apart until I fixed the JPs accordingly to include the neck. Hope this helps, Cres

I haven't tried the head transplant thing yet myself but Motsura's Manga Vicky has already been re-scaled for use with a Manga head. I wonder if that Bod would be easier to transplant for this type of application? (Don't know, but might be worth a try). The link is down lower in another thread.

I put her on V3's body because I had some V3 clothing that I really wanted to use. The clothes had sufficient morphs to get an anime body look already. This also allows me to use the V3 male morphs and have a male anime character, especially with the morphs I made for the head. (The morphs are available in Free Stuff. If I can get some more that I like, I'll post those as well.) Cheers!

Here's Motsura's website. he did the original very cute "IDOL" chara for P4 many years ago. Crescent- Hope you can also post the AnimeV3 CR2. I'm not interested in M3, but V3 would be really nice. On Motsura's website--- Click on the LEFT HAND links (even though they are in Japanese- each leads to a treasure trove of Manga-Anime goodies.) Motsura has been a BIG supporter of the Koshini chara, but actually he created the same Koshini and Ichiro characters years ago for P4. You can still get most of them on some of these links. BUT- you can also get his really nice KOTE Head2 Manga chara which has been attached ALREADY to a P4 Bod and a Vicky Bod, plus scaled already using his own formula. Manga Vicky has GREAT anime eyes and face and works GREAT with anime renders, z-toon, etc. BUT you must REMOVE three zero's ("000") for the face-eye dials to work well. For some reason his dials won't do anything until you make this adjustment. There are 30 morph dials to fix, but its worth it. Manga Vicky is a more "Manga" looking chara, while Maya's Anime Doll has more of the "anime" look- but they both work well together. And you can always get Zokemaster's Mayu chara, and the other charas like Capsces SPRITE, Aiki, etcand have a big Manga-Anime party! Also on the Posermania website- Nine (9) Manga hairstyles for Koshini, but they can be scaled for other Vicky Manga charas- and I've used them on Beth West's Anime-Looking SPRITE character as well. Also TONs of Koshini clothes and ther older P4 Manga charas that Motsura has created-Lots of them.
