Subject: Question about BAM3 For M3 regarding theTailor

cwsatl429 ( ) posted Sun, 19 October 2003 at 12:44 PM · edited Mon, 02 December 2024 at 12:54 AM

I know BAM3 for M3 does not contain any full body morphs, but how good does it work with the Tailor? I would really love to buy BAM3, but only if I could add the morphs I need using the Tailor. The reason why I am asking is because some clothing looks like crap after you run it through the Tailor and I don't want to spend the money for BAM3 if it is going to look like crap after I put the morphs in it. Any help from someone who has the Tailor, M3 and BAM3 from Daz would be great! Thanks in advance.

I can't use Tailor for sh*t but I've seen well tailored versions of Uzilite clothes for Mike 2 from pdxjims. They looked absolutley great. I think it really depends on how much you want to morph them. The adjustments I saw looked like Mus 1 or tone. Good definition and still the classic Uzilite line. Emily

I've got a mac so I can't buy the tailor. I would have bought BAM3 for my M3 but like you I want morphs so I can make the clothes fit the character I've made. Love esther

I've had good and bad results, I transfered the muscular 1, 2, 3 to the Bam3 clothing they transfered very well on the pants and on the tank top but didn't work real well on the sweater the chest part didn't morph. This is a render of the muscular 2 morph, as you can see there are very small poke thrus on the shirt but a tiny bit of scaling will fix it. The pants mesh starts to break on the muscular 3 morph, but I doubt you would want that kinda (superhero, warrior) morph with those pants lol

I have no Idea, I knew someone will poin it out sooner or later lol I almost cropped the face so this wouldn't become a mike looks girly debate as well. Is probably the pose or maybe a musclemorph 2 problem, might also be a problem in my part :)

I'm just worried in case it's a fault in the M3 mesh. Sorry, I just couldn't help but mention it. I hope he's not too embarrissed hehe. Love esther

For the record --- I got BAM3 without realizing its limitations. Then after wasting much time I found this thread, which was very helpful! Thanks. I tried the tailor and it did work for tank top and briefs with muscular 1, and not bad for pants, but needed to turn off calfs. Sweater was a problem and I had to turn off M3 chest so it would not poke through, which was okay, I guess. Didn't try different poses. Let me add that I think the triceps on M3 do look abnormal and for that reason and a few others I would not have bought M# if it was not on sale. For my tastes, this problem is not too hard to deal with, though, simply by reducing that part of the arm using dials.
