Looks funky :) Most M3 and V3 eyebrow textures are painted onto the texture map, so lightening would have to be done in a paint program. I've tried this myself recently with limited success :

hiya..here is teh trick about dying Julian hair with some funny colours.
open julian hair pz2 file with notepad
and then change some digits like

material 2
{
KdColor 0.372549 0.372549 0.372549 1
->
material 2
{
KdColor 0.772549 0.272549 0.972549 1
=======================================================
and so on (material 1,4,3 as well).

there is so much fun with this trick because of irregular results
