Link to StudioMaya's store support page (SEE: Anime Doll Kit Support Page) There is a tutorial on how to create a Cel-Shade look. What can do with this, if you have Photoshop, (or a similiar program that does batch image processing like Photoshop does) is use the Photoshop ACTIONS tool to batch process 50-500 still frames from Poser! Use the Animation feature and output a series of still frames in sequence, and then reprocess them with the ACTIONS too, while you're having a cup of coffee. THEN you can either re-assemble them into a MOV or AVI file, OR you can use the FLASH tool shown below:

This is "SWISH". I LOVE this program for doing Flash and website projects. You can use SWISH to IMPORT high quality image sequence files and turn them into a FLASH SWF that is much higher quality then what Poser's Flash output does. In fact, I think the SWF results are of near broadcast video quality if you output large size animation sequence image files from Poser using the highest JPG quality. My Flash sequences have turned out excellent using the SWISH software tool.

Link to StageTools StageTools is another great FLASH and FLASH-Sprite composition program. You can also PAN and ZOOM over hi-rez stills to get that professional documentary look like you see on PBS-TV (In fact they USE StageTools for that effect). But StageTools can also assemble animation sequences into great FLASH animations. There's a free demo on their website. (SWISH also has a FREE 15 day trial demo as well)

Compiler reminded me that Taruru has some great ANIME style clothes available FREE for P4 and Vicky, plus other Anime props and the Cannon-Chan character- a cutie-robot-warrior character (and a robot horse vehicle) You need to know that to find this stuff you must use TARURU's scroll bar (not yours on your browser) to scroll down and find all the Anime clothes and goodies. I have found that you can get P4 and Vicky clothes to work on Anime Doll, and that all the P4 and Vicky POSES also work on Anime Doll- PLUS all the BVH's I have tried from Mo-Tek, etc. Anime Doll animates EASILY in Poser! In fact I think she is the most fun animation character ever for Poser.

Here's a link to a Chara that ISN'T available for Anime Doll, but StudioMaya should consider bringing something out like this for Halloween, I think.

A really cute Anime Kitty with BIG CLAW PAWS. Looks like nice add-on's for Anime Doll with a Tiger-Kitty suit!

Not Nude and in a Temple, but I think that could be possible!

If you are looking for some nice Anime Sci-Fi props to go with your Anime Sci-Fi chara, check out DAZ's growing supply of Robots and other mechanical Droids. For only $1.99 each you can get a nice Droid, the JIC3000, and for CUTENESS, the D-Claws and D-Squeek animal robots, something every Anime Sci-Fi babe would have as pets!

I really appreciate all of your tips and suggestions too! The Anime Doll Kit has certainly generated some excitement around this forum! It's great! Kimberly

Veritas777 ( ) posted Mon, 20 October 2003 at 6:40 PM

This is great if you like the cute "Animal Anime" charas- Go to Poser Free Stuff and Search for "cat ears" (also works as FOX ears)-and get the Cat Ears headpiece. and Search for "Fox Tail" Get Little Dragon's "Instant Squirrel" tail (Normally for DAZ Mouse, but works great on Anime Doll!) and if you are needing a "devilish" Anime Doll: Same place as "Instant Squirrel" - get House Mouse add-on: "Devil-Mousie" Nice set of devil horns for your Anime babe!

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Mon, 20 October 2003 at 8:43 PM

Gee, Veritas, you could become your OWN anime forum! Tks for all the tips!

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 20 October 2003 at 8:48 PM

I'm uploading a new-and-improved version of the tail to Free Stuff tonight. I hope you like stripes.

... very nice all around ... thanks for sharing ....

Veritas777 ( ) posted Mon, 20 October 2003 at 10:09 PM

Great Little Fox- now we can also create an AnimeDoll Racoon babe- Black Mask and stripes on the face, etc. I think a SERIES of AnimeDoll Animal Charas would be GREAT and very popular- also: AnimeDoll Racoon Girl, AnimeDoll TigerKitty Girl, AnimeDoll Foxy Girl, etc. And of course there must be an AnimeDoll Angel Girl with Wings- (to counter the Evil AnimeDoll Devil Girl) and, YES, the AnimeDoll Centaur!!! (BTW- Theses charas DO already EXIST in the HUGE LEXICON of Anime Characters out there). Yes Chuck, I think we are eventually headed to an Anime-Manga Forum. There are TONS of Anime characters out there already, and most people at Renderosity have only seen a very TINY fraction of what is available. That's also why I think DAZ is sliding into more Anime Robot Charas as they TEST the ANIME WATERS. Don't you think that M3 Stephanie has a HIGH likelyhood of being an ANIME Chara- perhaps in an AIKO 2 version, or maybe even as a V3 Morph version. DAZ has GOT to NOTICE the popularity that Anime figures have, and WILL HAVE in the future. We're talking about a BIG TREND, I think.

I have to agree with you, Veritas.

Riddokun ( ) posted Wed, 22 October 2003 at 8:03 PM

racoo girl ? seems nice.. already had such a goo dlaugh in doax beachvolley at the Ayane "raccon suit" as for centaur characters in anime worlds... i know about those found in a videogame serie called shining force, where most knights are in fact centaurs, in a medival fantastic setting... yes the anime doll generated an outburst of activity and hype around it, but do not forget our not so old Mayadoll basic (i am working on not very pretty but humoristic poser images to illustrate that, i'll planto call it: war of the dolls !") paws/hears/tail props of common animals woudl sure suit perfectly the anime thematic (hmm, a neko mayadoll... puuurrrrrrr !)

If you're into that sort of thing, Lady Cherry's new anime figure includes a Felicia (Dark Stalkers) costume.

You must be the modeler (smile) or just an incredible conincidence in names...LOL. So, rather than search for an earlier thread that I posted before this anime thing really went crazy (hehe), I'll rely on my memory...has she undergone a price reduction?

Lady Cherry ( ) posted Sat, 25 October 2003 at 2:37 PM

Attached Link: Cherry Anime

She is $15.00 she comes with a few outfits and 2 hairs and a bunch of props. Many morph targets and a whole lot more. I think her price is more than decent for all that comes with her. Including a never ending support at rendervisions.

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Sat, 25 October 2003 at 3:45 PM

Maybe you misunderstood. When I was looking around, I looked at her and my memory is telling me she cost a lot more at that time. That's why I asked if her price had been reduced lately. Otherwise, it means my brain is playing tricks on me again....grin.

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Sat, 25 October 2003 at 8:41 PM

Now that I have researched it, I see that it was a model called Shine that I was confusing with Lady Cherry. Shine was the one that I thought a bit pricey. As to Lady Cherry, which I took a good look at, I thought her cheeks were a bit too wide (just a personal taste) and since I only saw large breasted pictures and no mention of breast morphs (that I could find) that might be used to make a smaller breast, I wondered if she only came with that size of breast. IF she had some breast morphs and some facial morphs to help out those things (not asking for favors, mind you), I'd DEFINITELY be interested. And, you are right! $15 is a very fair price. [this would have been posted RIGHT after my last comment if CHARTER.NET PIPELINE (yelling here!) had not decided to go down in the middle of my typing!]

Lady Cherry ( ) posted Sat, 25 October 2003 at 9:34 PM

Yes she has a smaller breast morph. Other Free morphs are coming soon this week. Including a couple of facial change morphs. But it does allready mention a breast change morph.

Thanks for the reply. With that information, I can assure you of a sale. I hope I didn't impune your model with my incorrect memory. And I guess I missed the info on the site about breast morphs. Again, thanks for your patience.
