Subject: Poser 5 Mac quits during launch

Any ideas? I just was using it yesterday, now, nothing. It crashes before I even see any sort of Poser splash screen. Weird.

10.2.8 update recently? If so, you may have to revert to an earlier version. Otherwise, try Diskwarrior 3.

Cujeau, if nyar1ath0tep's suggestions won't help, could you submit the crash log via http://www.curiouslabs.com/go/techsupport? The file is named 'Poser 5.0 OS X.crash.log' and can be found in /Library/Logs/CrashReporter.

the Library folder I'm referring to can be found in the home directory of the current user, if anyone wonders...

For what it's worth, I'm running 10.2.8 and Poser 5 with no problems at all. Muchly improved over running Poser 4 in Classic! You might also try running the Disk Utility, switch to the "First Aid" tab, and repair the permissions on your disk. That has been known to solve some odd pickles into which applications can get themselves.
