Subject: ? about rendering size for a poster

I would like to make a poster of one of my images for my mom for christmas.. what would be the best size and res to render it?!? also,does anyone know if I put it on cd,am I right that I can take it to say Kinko's to have them make the print?!? Thanks for any advice! Nancy

Check with the printer you want to use for sizes, etc. They can tell you what size and depth you need for the image file. Dunno about Kinkos as far as printing. I believe they do poster work, but I've never used them for that service. Best way to find out is to give your nearest Kinkos a call and ask! :-) bonni

Generally you want to render in a size that is equal to 300dpi when printed.... so if 5x7 was printed should be 5(*300) x 7(*300) = 1500 x2100 res.....
