Not sure this is where i post if i need help i'm kinda new to the board so if not please forgive me.. Well any way am tring to do something i have done in PSP before but this is where i run into problems in Bryce 5 the graphics and picture i was able to do in PSP you had to cut out windows for this i guess you see where am going with this in bryce i can't figure out how to do the windows can anyone please help me..and i will post the picture here so you can see what am tring to do in Bryce this picture i did in PSP 7.. Thanks.

hi rose u need to make the windows negative under theire atributes settings click the litle a and the wall positive then group all windows and the wall. hope this helps start with a square window and a wall to get the principle. then make a boolean group for the window u want a tube ontop of an elongated cube group them and make this group negative then duplicate this group and add a wall and group again. hope this clarifies things for you. bye bye

You can paint your wall in psp as grey scale, then create a terrain lattice and import the grey scale from psp and apply your marble texture. Here is a link to a tut on modeling in Bryce with grey scales.

Thanks will try that..i will tell ya and admit here Bryce is all new to me am usually use to doing stuff in PSP 7.

Hope this little tut gives you some ideas! : ) I've posted the gray image (made in PS) for you to experiment with. . . . once you get the hang of it, the terrain editor can be very useful when modeling most objects.
