Create a terrain, in the mat lab, next to diffuse place a bead in the first box, this will bring up a material. Click the second bead on the material window, this takes you to the DTE. In the DTE, on the bottom center component box, right hand side, top, little knob, click that and it takes you to the textures used for materials. Start with the first category and just clic on each pic to get the name, got through each category until you find islands31, or it may have been one he created and saved as that. Hope that helps...

I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to create a good forest terrain material using the materials in Bryce. I am making a forest type scene and after doing Jonathon's tutorial on creating a forest scene, I can't figure out how to make a good realistic material for the forest terrain. I made the terrain the way I want it, all I need now is a good material. In his tutorial he says he used an "islands31" material and I don't know if that is in Bryce or what..Can't seem to find it. His tutorial is here.. http://www.j.b.allen.btinternet.co.uk/bigsite/ground.html If anyone know's of a good place to get materials or can help, let me know. Thanks!
