Sorry to have to tell you it's sunny and 67 degrees F according to the outdoor thermometer here at the house. (Tennessee) I'm justifying staying in and Brycing because the weather is "too mild".

Oh, and sorry I forgot to say, Collette, I'm still laughing at your pic!

Oh you poor people. Weather??? What is that? Typical San Diego, California...80s and sunny. OK, it has been a bit warmer than usual, but we have to have SOMETHING to complain about! Love your picture Collette. It's been over 165 days since we had any rain here. Peggy

"Snowed here too. Only an inch or so." An inch is about as much as we get here :) maybe 2-3 inches at max, but usually not much more then one inch :) The sun's still shining here, it's about 6 degrees celcius and it's completely dry.

We are all wishing for rain real hard right now. Big brush fire about 50 miles from us. The Marines decided to do a live fire excercise during our dry conditions... Duh! Looks like it may be a bad one.

Yes, San Deigo. We are about 50 miles south of the fire.

We heard about the fires on the news, I'm in the UK. Shocked that some people would start them deliberately!

Woke up this morning to smoke all around us. Fire was only 2 miles away at one point. Our house is safe, but looks like 100s of homes have been lost and well as 8 deaths. Looks like one of the fires was started by a lost hunter who set off a flare gun. Some fires are arson, some could be blown embers, some are just started by stupid people. We have had several arson fires by a group of terrorists that call themselves the ELF. Hope I still have a job to go to tomorrow. My office is right next to one of the big fires.

We are in the middle of the suburbs, so very safe. The homes that are being lost are all in the hills or canyons. Work just called to say the office will be closed tomorrow. Looks like the fire is buring away from that area (Keep fingers crossed!). They just want people to stay off the roads...
