Hehe ... finally getting into the Hot Autumn Nites Classic car show shots. Wanted to test out a technique for isolating the cars from the busy backgrounds. This one took waaaaay too long. It'd be February before I finished if I did this to them all. Anyway, thought I'd post it and I know how much the raven-haired one likes classic cars. What you have here is an REO built in 1905 in Lansing, Michigan. This beast had an overpowering 10 horsepower, 1 cylinder engine capable of pushing it to the insane top speed of 25 miles per hour while getting 32 miles per gallon. This puppy would have set you back $625 back then. -=>Donald

OMG it's beautiful....both the image and the car.... Now give me my goggles and flowing long scarf, I want to ride this baby on a rutted up dirt road and see how she handles. :~)

I am, therefore I create.......

That is one nifty car! And such an image of 'chelle and the scarf! [Like your effect. I tried something similar once, and it did take WAY too long! Good job.]

How lovely!!! Most beautiful find and shot! Now waiting to see Michelle and her flowing long scarf riding this baby... hehe. Great effect and job, Donald!

Very nice! I like the technique you used to "Pop" the car out of the background. What a cool looking car.

And such an image of 'chelle and the scarf! Don't forget the disheveled hair and dirt stuck in the teeth!

I am, therefore I create.......

Don't forget your snazzy gloves! Gotta have those! Woooo hoooo... To tell the truth, the thing that kept going through my head was this car was made in Michigan. Can you imagine driving this - no windshield, roof or doors - during a Michigan winter? What else I found cool. REO stands for Ransom Eli Olds. As in the Olds family, as in the Olds Motor Vehicle Company. That's right, boys and girls, Olds as in Oldsmobile. :) -=>Donald
