How do you do an animation where a character is holding an 2 handed object like a chainsaw? Every time it's moved, at least one hand is out of line. Is there a way to accomplish this easily using hiearchy? I want to be able to move the character and still keep his hands on the saw. HELP!

Try 'locking' the affected limbs, and only twist/bend from the chest. What you are looking for is 'Circular Parenting' which Poser can't do. And you hold a chainsaw ... very carefully... Couldn't resist.

go to "figure" at the top use Inverse Kinematics check left and right arms select the hand(either) go to "object" change parent select the prop (chainsaw) and inherit bends do the same for the other hand now you can move the prop around and the hands will stay on it and the arms will follow -Jeff

Yeah, like Jeff said. I knew it, I just couldn't remember it. I thought I had a text file with the info. I will now. Thanks, Jeff.
