how do you print pictures out with poser 5 without losing detail or quality?

I ususally Export the image as a high quality TIFF file, then import it to Photoshop, and pront it on an Epson color plotter.

now there's someone with mo' money..;) Tiff files are used by professionals..but be forewarned, they can get honkin' big..;) Plotters, depending on the size, don't come cheap either..;)
It would probabaly help if you tell us what you're aiming at; wallet size, poster, plain paper, glossy, etc. I know jpeg files will lose some detail (which is why it's considered a 'lossy' standard)..not sure if this helps, but since I have to do printers for a livin'..;)

Espon used to recommend 240 ppi for best results (you need several printer dots for each image pixel, since the dots themselves can't manage the 16 million colours of a standard RGB image), so decide how big you want your print, in inches, multiply by 240 and set that as your render size (you will need to render to a separate window), then save as TIFF or PSD and open in your image editor/layout application to print. The file will be big, but as long as you have the PZ3 you can always delete it and just keep a screen resolution version.
