Self-Portraiture There was mention last time of how some of these seemed almost impossible to convey photographically....and I tend to agree with this thought.... Please feel free to add ideas that you think might be good! Remember, this is YOUR challenge, and it's supposed to be fun, and we hope that you'll learn something in the process..... Actually, there are two votes for speed..

Ok... think "Speed" is difficult to catch for most users of those digicams you can't put a special exposure time... like me sigh. Also "Emotions" reminds me a bit of the "Blue" Challenge ;o)... so I go for "Surrealism", if we are allowed to use some potatoeshopping. Monika

Hmmm.. I'd like to say "emotions".. but, one thing: if it has to be a challenge, it could be an idea to choose a random argument.. because it is a CHALLENGE, when a photographer try to express something it's not "usual" for him.. so, if I follow this idea, i CAN'T say "emotions".. lol.. OK.. no difference for me.. i'd like only to hear advices on my idea :) hugs :)

oh boy, surrealism or speed? i'm going to have to go for.. ...ya, surrealism. speed will have to wait for christmas...heh have fun peoples.

I can understand about speed with people.. but personally I've worked with objects travelling about 800 miles an hour past where I'm standing and catching them while panning with a shutter speed fast enough to capture the object and slow enough to blur the ground rushing past. It's all about panning :P Or catching the moment when the Blue Agnels cross with the Knife edge pass making one motion blurry and one in sharp focus...

Well...taking note of Rattos idea of "Random"....I numbered 1 to 18 on some pieces of Paper...and put them in My Straw Hat...true...My random Number, was not a "Pre-meditated Challenge" ... I picked No: #17. which was "Life. I will submit that as My Challenge Choice.

Since most of my life is surreal anyways, I'm voting for surrealism. Now maybe someone can arrange for each day to have an extra 6 hours so I can find some time to take some bloody photos. My photo album over the last 3 weeks consists purely of damaged cars for insurance purposes. sigh (",)
