I use Poser5 to put people into 3D Cad drawings, and have imported both M3 and maya doll into cad as OBJ. files, but for some reason V3 will not cross over. I am using AutoCad2000. Other files have no problem (default P5 male.) For some reason Cad only imports the chest and then gives me an error. What is different for V3 as opposed to other figures?

Have you tried a 3ds file instead of an .obj? I haven't got V3 so I can't test it.

I tried converting v3 to work in a few other programs and it didn`t work. The mesh was all mangled and the legs were either scrunched up or missing...

Two things: One, ditch anything that even looks like dynamic clothes or hair - they won't export at all. take 'er clothes and hair off, and all the props while you're at it. In P5, you may want to avoid using any materials on 'er as well. Two, export the critter in .dxf format, making sure you have the figure's entire body selected. If all went well, then go back and test stuff, like adding the texture (don't get jiggy w/ the material settings tho'), then the props, then the (non-dynamic) clothes. /P

I tried converting v3 to work in poser 4 pro pack. There were no add ons and it didnt work. It may be a small bug that objects so big dont export properly...
