Looks great! If you have poser, this needs children playing, making the snowman, throwing snowballs from those forts in the background, pulling each other on the sled.
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Nicely done so far.....don't you need falling snow in the foreground too?

Looks great thus far. I agree possibly about kids play, but some foot steps in the snow would be a nice detail to add. Maybe a 'yellow' snow patch by a tree :) Also, you might want to consider tilting some of the trees just slightly--having them all standing perfectly upright doesn't seem right. Can't wait to see more!
Had to look at this again. I find it charming. The lyrics to Winter Wonderland keep running through my head: "...in the meadow, we can build a snowman."

I agree on the snow falling in the foreground. You need that. A great way to get snow in your trees is to take the snow and mud terrain material, change the brown of the mud into a nice dark green, and apply the material to your tree. If you don't have Poser (and I don't, so I do this a lot), see if you can't get some neighborhood kids to pose for you in costume on a cloudy day and insert them as picture planes.
Could be worse, could be raining.
Thanks for the ideas everyone. All are good ideas. Tjohn... I am going to do what I can with the human element. Had thought about kids and snowballs etc. Will do what I can with this element. Not real good with poser. But there is always a time to learn some more eh? heh heh heh Quest... The snow on the trees is something I need for sure and some snow falling in the foreground. Catlin.... I am really glad that people are using the cobblestones. That is why I shared them. 8) mloates... As you requested, I am going to add a yellow patch of snow by one of the trees or where ever it fits in. As for the tilted trees, you have a good point there. I will tip a few of them. rickymaveety... Thanks for the tip on inserting the picture planes. Hadn't thought of that. Might be an option here. Battleangel21... I had thought of using a cat or dog or rabbit for a four footed element in this image. 8) Thanks to all of you for your valued input. You have given me some new ideas to work with. Will post another WIP when I get these things accomplished. 8)

I was thinking of a winter scene myself. Being from Minnesota and all. I went on a hunt to find some winter coats for Poser and came up empty handed. Anybody know where I could get such freebies? Swade, great job on this scene. I just looked out the window to two inches of fresh snow. Now it starts, ish.
Lol@kimpe.... I know. Ish is right. I like the snow but not the bitter cold. I live in Sioux Falls, SD and we had 3 inches of fresh white snow this morning when I went to work. Freezing rain at noon. That sucked. In regards to your question about coats for Poser.... I am searching for the same thing. If/when I find any.... I will be sure to let you know.

Burrrr! It was 85F down here today. How can you surf in that stuff?! LOL. That pic does bring back some fun childhood memories when we lived up near Lake of the Woods Minn. Thats a really nice pic so far! I'm looking forward to seeing how you'll put the snow on the trees. I've never been able to get that to look right. Watch out for that yellow snow!
*...yellow snow, we'll blame it on the dog unless the yellow turns out to be someone's name! * and that all depends on whose handwriting it is......!

Bryster: That reminds me of a joke too dirty to tell here, but it sounds like you've already heard it. :^)

LMAO not even gonna comment on yellow snow and "hand"writing... hehehehe kewl pic Wade! Only thing i see is a noticible line between what looks like the 3d part, and maybe a picture in the background.... there's like this point in the view where it goes from crystal clear, to very light and fuzzy... perhaps something in between those two sections, kinda mid-fuzzy? ooo and maybe some small snow mounds at the base of the trees, like it has drifted a lil as the night winds blew?
