How can i divide a single mesh figure in order to make a new cractrer for Poser?

The easiest way I can think of is to create new groups (rShin, lForeArm etc) with the grouping tool within Poser. Make sure you get all of the naming conventions exactly right. Also check out the tutorials (under Features on the right), there are some excellent tutorials on figure creation. Paul

I group mine within the 3D modeling program that I use to create the figure. (Truespace) In essance I color code each part. Its a very similar to, (but I found easier than), using the grouping tool in Poser. PhilC
