the only possible thing that i can think of has to do with using a removable disk of some sort - like a floppy or a zip disk. sometimes files don't get copied correctly, hence the error. if you are doing the whole zip/unzip process on the same hard drive, then it quite possibly is your zipping utility.
Hi, we are using winzip 8.* and we found, just the *.png make the troubles (hard drive). Same mistake was coming up sometimes, after we domwloaded and decompressed some items out of freestuff. As we sad, just the *.png with datasize more than 8K made the troubles. No other filesare involved. Nevertheless we found a way, but we are not satisfied. Daniel + Matthias

Hi, yesterday we were in a bad mood, because zipping any *.png for our new model was a totally mess. No problems to zip them, but trying to unzip these .png forced a message like "CRC-error" ... no decompress possible. We tried a lot, making new thumbnails but with the same result. Then purly by chance we got the solution: - If thumbnail's (.png) datazise is less than 8K, compress and uncompress is working fine. Do you know more about this problem? Daniel + Matthias
