I have noticed that in bryce5 (i don't know if its the case for other versions) u can select to render (normal) or to : "render to disk" which bring up another menu that starts a render but not on the screen... is there any difference at all with the 2 of them?

Yeah, 1.) you can do higher render resolutiosn by render to disk 2.) you can't stop and resume by render to disk. J.

3.) you can set pre determined dpi's when rendering to disk (usefull if you are planning on printing the final image and don't have photoshop)

And it takes bloody longer than the other renders..slows down your comp. I use it allt he time coz I have to print. You can also choose the size that youw ant it rendered at, besides the dpi.

oki thanx guys but by the way derjimi u CAN stop and restart render : click on the "x" and it will ask u if u REALLY wanna cancel than u use the "windows" button on keyboard and can do whatever u want.
