Hi :)

I recently upgraded from PBooost 1.3 to 1.4.2.11 (includes latest update) with P5 & Win XP Pro. It works well except that I'm getting an error message everytime I start windows. (see attached photo)

I presume I've put something in the wrong place.
Has anyone else had this and solved the problem?

Thanks for any help you can give,

ali :)

Run the free program correct reference found here in the free stuff area. Just do a search on it. I think that will help. If not someone else here will be able to help I'm sure. Marque

I talked to him before the update when I had this. Still get it (although everything works fine, so I haven't gotten around to telling him yet.) Correct Reference won't do anything. It has something to do with the program itself. No clue what causes it, but it hasn't hindered anything for me yet. (I run W2k). I'm sure if we give the author a shout, he will look into it.

Yes, I get that sometimes at startup and sometimes certain pz2 files bring that up. But just clicking the OK will get rid of it and as far as I've ever been able to tell, nothing is out of sorts.

Thanks for the replies - glad it's not just me! As a couple of you also mention, I can't see that I've done anything strange and it doesn't seem to affect PB's performance. Will contact JH when I have a moment...

Do you have anything set up for "Runtime"? The entry below the list of Libraries, just above "Switch Banks" button? PBoost will try to find these for itself when it first runs, but if you stop it, then you need to do it manually: Click the word Runtime and then click +Add, set up at least 1 Poser Runtime, close the popup windows, and then select a Runtime, if not already selected, by clicking on the field to right of the Runtime button. Exit PBoost - i.e. Menu > Shut down PBoost, not just click the close button (or right click the toolbar icon and select Shut down PBoost), and then restart it. The index of out bounds error shouldn't be absent. The error is non-fatal, BTW. Hope this helps, yell if it doesn't...

You still can get it if your runtime is set. I have only one, and PBOOST finds it fine (that's the one listed). Doesn't effect the error message, though. But as it seems to not be important, I don't worry. You only get it starting PBOOSt, and since mine rarely shuts down, I forget about it. lol
