My understanding is that the Refridgerator Art gallery is intended for kids' pictures. My kids may have not posted anything there during all of October, but that's because we had another project keeping us busy, not because they stopped being interested. Having come back, they jumped to view the Refridgerator Art genre, and what do they see. All these thumbs with adult material warnings, and not a single picture that has been posted in the last fifteen days that gives any evidence of being posted by a kid. Is it possible to move those pictures to a genre where they actually belong? Despite being an adult, I have no interest in so called "adult" material. However, I have no objection to people sharing their adult material with those who are interested. I DO have an objection to people who are too stupid, and/or too lazy to read the genre descriptions. And I very much object to people who read the descriptions and then post their own material to a kid's genre anyway. My kids were overjoyed when you gave kids their own gallery, but if adults are going to post there, then there isn't much point. Maybe it would help if you renamed it?

Might I suggest a different name for Refridgerator Art, maybe Kid's Art. I doubt many people read the Genre Descriptions...Just a thought. I agree that there shouldn't be adult art in that category...

Thank you for your quick response, and during one of Renderosity's horrible slow downs, no less. What wonderful service! I have pondered on the question of other names. This is a international community, and the term "Refridgerator Art" doesn't seem to be familiar to everyone. I considered "Kids' Art" and then worried that people would think it was for pictures of kids, or for kids, rather than by kids. So I would tenatively like to proffer the suggestion of naming it "Young Artists". My kids would certainly prefer to identify themselves as young artists, rather than identify their works as "refridgerator art" anyways. (rueful grin).

Fair enough, sounds good to me...now we just got to convince the PTB :)
