Subject: Hidden Window Problems

Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me with a Poser 4 Pro problem. I installed a few new characters, and now when I launch the program, my character window is in the top left corner of my screen! I can't move it because the top tab is hidden. Does anyone know how I can move it?

It's a very common problem with Poser. You need to reset it to factory standards, (Edit - General Preferences) then when it's all back where it should be, set an UI dot (those little 3X3 balls usually hiding in a corner) With an UI Dot set, all you need to do next time it happens (and it WILL happen again) is to click it and restore your interface. Oh and be sure to NOT place your UI Dots where the window will cover them up next time it goes north-west ;o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

  1. Edit menu --> General Preferences --> Launch to Factory State 2) Shut down Poser and relaunch After you get everything straightened out, use the UI dots to memorize your interface layout. Then, the next time this happens, you can just click the dot to put everything back in place, without shutting down Poser.

That, and the answer to "I click the button to add the clothes and the character disappears".
