Yes, smoking kills you, and those around you either also get some sort of ailment from secondhand smoke, or suffer emotionally as you fade. But it is a part of our culture. Is smoking banned on TV? I have yet to see a movie on TBS (the worst of the "censorship butchers") to have cut out a scene of someone smoking. There is a point where seeking to protect others from themselves becomes intrusive, and pushy. This is beyond that.
