Subject: Using MAX files in Poser

Is there a way to use a MAX file in Poser? Or to convert a MAX file to something that Poser can read? Thanks

As far as I know, you have to open the .max file with 3DSMAX and export the object into the .3ds format that Poser can read... Regards Facehugger

Poser can read 3ds but not max files,another idea is Habwares max to .obj exporter,seeing as all poser figures,props etc call for an .obj that is what people usually work with

BTW explode your mesh faces to "Elements" (not "objects) before exporting and you won't get that crazy smoothing problem that Poser has.
