Subject: worth posting it?

Hmm ... i do like that horror-b-movie feeling within, but on the other hand, this isn't special in any way. Somewhat boring. So would you post it? What do you think i could improve in a second try (that tree isn't far away so giving him a second chance won't be a problem)

Of course. It's a wonderful photo with powerful mood. This photo has my vote for the Hot20 secured.

Practicing the bad influences about crops, perhaps this crop increase the dramatic feel. The title in the center as yours. What do you think?

I like those wide-angled-pano-like shots ... but you're right, some cropping on the left side will make it better. The rule oft thirds is lost (beeing not to strong in the original version) but .. yep. Feeling better! Thank you!

ur welcome! Anyway I like very much the original version, as I said.

Agree very much with exax's crop, it has strengthend the image considerably..... LOL the evil cropping bug has captured enax! BTW it is a very nice image. The fog and muted tones makes this quite wonderful. But the original crop does seem to be lacking something special that makes one go OH WOW.

I am, therefore I create.......

The devil of crops is Michelle, she said in this forum: "Go ahead enax! Take a walk on the wild side and start cropping. ;~)"
... I haven't overcome this yet... and I have nightmares ...I see myself with a big scissors ... surrealistic indeed :)

Should we call you Enax Scissorhands in the future? :)). Btw. Thank you too Michelle!!

To be honest I like the 1st image better.

Have to agree with Misha... less is more ;o) The cropped version gives a stronger feel to it! Anyway it's a beautiful shot, Thomas!

Less is more but not quite so much less. I think that if you crop too much you lose the mood. I prefer this crop. Hope you don't mind...

Thanks for your helpful comments :-)) I'll redo this one next weekend - not beeing quite sure where i'll end, but i think, it'll be very near to enax' idea even if zhounder provides that wider angle, i do like more. So once again: Thanks!
