Subject: Snow?

Hi all. What's the best way to get a snow on the ground effect on a terrain? I'd like to have a forest in winter with snow on the ground and trees. The trees are easy but I'm having difficulty with the ground.

Do a search here for topics about snow. This was brought up before and we made a new snow material for Vue, so you will see posts by me on that thread. It was last year we did it.

Put SNOW from the Landscape material on the ground. Now, you may feel that the snow looks like dirt. Open the material editor for the snow, click the EFFECTS tab and bring "luminous" to a highter value. This is especially valid, if the general atmosphere is a little dark. :-) Guitta

Guitta you're wonderful. That worked great. My original with the snow texture looked like gray mud.

grunthor and all, this is also a great "trick" to lighten walls for an inside view. Bring the effects tab-->luminous to a highter value for the walls if you want to look them white:-)

Wow Guitta , you constantly amaze me. I would never have been brave enought to purchase Veu if ypu had not been here in the forum.
