Subject: What's your favorirte body texture??? realistic or not....

I've been thinking about buying a couple textures, I just bought beachbaby soft and dry a few minutes ago and was wondering what others like? If you see an image and you think"That is so real!! it looks like real skin" or "Thats fantastic!!" Include the image link and I'll take a look :o) thanks dana

I just totally love Spectre3's Gia. such a beautiful texture. I use it as the texture for my fanfiction character Sadie :) and my second fave texture is Maria (also by Spectre3.) I use that fo rmy other fanfiction character (Alena)

I agree that Gia is wonderful. I have had a number of clients choose her for their corporate sites. she is verastile and beautiful and a great price. cheerio lululee

Any texture by dalinese...she creates living characters that seem to have more personality and life than some of the others, at least to me.

my favorite is montana skye by tiff and mahna at daz3d,not just the texture but also the face,for fantasy textures anything by ecstacy is a must have

My favourite is currently the Millennium Catwoman Red Tabby texture, but I'm unreasonably biased ....

It's hard to single out one tex which stands above the rest; there are so many outstanding ones. However, I'd pick Khadijah by ByteMeOk, if you held a gun to my head.

I have to agree with maskedits textures..they are great... There are so many... Stefyzz... the DAZ textures for V3 and M3... The textures from RDNA.... I feel bad because there are many that are just awesome, and I can't list them all...dalinese, blackhearted, stormi, bytemeok...the new ones by orionxxx look awesome... They all look pretty good to me :)

I'm not big on the super-realistic textures. That said...I like the Leanansidhe texture at PoserPros. At $2.49, how can you go wrong? It's very versatile and easy to use. The makeup and tatooes are removable. The very pale skin color and trans-only lash and brows mean you easily adjust it for any hair and skin tone. Great if you do fantasy/SF/fairy images.

I couldn't agree more. There are so many variations you can get out of the combination of the two packs. The "Elegantly Aged" tex is my favourite, I even used it on Mike 3, with the V3 Hi-res as a base, in my latest render.

oh so many, I think if I were to choose a small amount it'd be Suelma by SteffyZ,Beach Baby by RDNA,D'Arcy by Fatale,Athena,Malefica and Kiana by Morris, mostly anything that Ecstasy releases I'm in love w/Binah and Mauriella,lot of samildanach products (that I couldn't limit-lol);Mortabella by Deviant Designs,Rio's Lilith,and Bride of Frankenstein...it is hard to limit, even whittling to this list of favorites was hard, but they are beautiful. :)

Anything by Ecstasy,I simply adore his Immigrant textures,and just finished rendering the freak with the Mauriella texture,Stunning!!

Too many to pick one. I'll just add a couple to the list. Morris and Vali, compossmentiss Alasunthia head maps that go great with the Daz maps.

I love Breath Generation Gia cpz it is so realisitic. Steve Shanks 'Sarah' is also so 'real woman' -perfect when you do not want the supermodel look. I also love Grim texture for male characters - don;t know why, it is just so cool and grainy.

I don't have a favorite. It all depends on what sort of character I need. If I'm doing a polynesian character, then I'm not going to be using beach baby, and so on.

By the time I get finished tweaking, lighting, experimenting, and postworking...they all look pretty much the same -- like demented finger paintings! This basically means that I guess I don't really have a favorite-favorite...LOL.
