Subject: DAZ platinum club problem

I have the DAZ monthly platinum club, since I couldn't take out a yearly one using my credit card (boggles that seemed dumb at the itme). Anyway been buying stuff for a while with no problem, and then today, I went to buy the M3 wizard's robe in platinum section...."cannot add to cart because you don't have ANNUAL platinum club membership" Er, what the hell is going on? Is it just a glitch?? confused and greatful for any help :)

Dear Silverblade, I strongly urge you to call Daz customer support at 1-800-267-5170. I am certain this will be handled for you efficiently. Additionally, did you know Daz has its own forums, including a members only section for the Platinum Club? http://forum.daz3d.com/index.php Hope you get this dealt with quickly!

Been there, done that. Happens - to me anyway - each month so far. Different cause both times, so... call or email Daz, and wait. And yes it's bugs - but it doesn't seem right to discuss software problems which involve credit cards in a quasi-public forum, even if Daz should have fixed them - and their login problems - by now. And no, you can't report this to the PC section of the Daz forum 'cos you lose access to that too when you PC membership is cut!

This might be a silly question but were you logged in when you tried to add it to your cart? It tells me that if I try to add something and am not logged in. After I log in it goes right in worth a try

... but it doesn't seem right to discuss software problems which involve credit cards in a quasi-public forum, even if Daz should have fixed them - and their login problems - by now. It's no big deal so long as actual code or credit card information isn't discussed. I've had problems buying something with my credit card before and I've seen no reason not to bring it up publically if I thought someone might be able to help me get it fixed. It's not like the information above will help someone hack into DAZ, and reporting the glitch may help others keep an eye on their accounts to make sure they aren't hit with the same problem. (And the fact that the usual response is, "Call DAZ. They're great about getting stuff fixed quickly" isn't exactly bad publicity for DAZ, either.)

I had that same thing happen to me. The problem is that you may not have a billing address associated with your card. The system automatically tries to renew your membership for 7 days prior to expiration. If you don't have a billing address associated with the card it can't verify the charge and it will not go through and your membership will expire. You can check if this information is there on your account page. It should be at the bottom. Once you verify that this information is there you can then renew right from your account page. there should also be a link to make purchase at the bottom of the page.

I ran into the same problem this morning. I signed up for the monthly club plan, but suddenly I wasn't a member anymore. Somehow, I didn't have a billing address listed, but I was able to re-submit it from my account page and I'm back among the chosen ones now.

being spammed with their Email offers Sorry I don't consider gifts and free software spam. The calendar competition issue have afaik been solved. Studio is released as an alpha to Platinum members next week.
