Subject: Throwing Shadows

Is it possible to have an object that is itself not visible, but that still casts a shadow in a scene just like it was visible?

OK, one problem. I don't see the "only shadows" option on mine. Here's what you're supposed to see...

Oh yes, the answer was for Vu ePro. You cannot do it in Vue 4

That figures. :) I guess one of these day's I'll have to pry open my wallet and buy Pro. Thanks anyway.

Don't know if this is what you want to acheive, but I just did this with Vue 4.2, using the inset image as a gel on a (softened) quadratic spot. The attached link gives a better idea of what you can do this way, although that was eventually rendered in Pro, it was set up in 4.2 - hence my using gels! John
