Can anyone recommend a good place on line to get good quality prints made of your 3D art work?--Essie

You might want to try your local kinko's or other print shops around your area.

Try a search in the Printing Forum. This has been discussed extensively.

not to put in an obvious plug for a friend, but www.firstoncolour.com. Great quality, dirt cheap prices.

If you're interested in following up with them, the email is shelly@firstoncolour.com. Make sure you put something in the subject line about getting a price quote -- they had an artist last year who spent his offhours cruising porn sites on the internet on the office computer, and now they get saddled with somewhere in the neighborhood of 200-300 spam mails per day, all from x-rated sites. Shelly's good people, BTW.

I've used Zazzle several times over the past year and am extremely pleased with the quality and service they provide. Their prices are very reasonable and I always got the print within 4 days from ordering it. That's in the USA, don't know about anywhere else. They work off a 100dpi jpeg and I was extremely surprised at the quality of the print from what I consider a very low dpi and a jpeg which I normally wouldn't use for printing purposes. I highly recomend them.

Thanks for your input borsy, I love it when we get feedback from companies that people have actually tried :) Thanks again for posting :) ladynimue

I have to agree with Borsey I have had nothing but positive feedback on waht I've bought/sold that was printed by zazzle. Even a few canvas prints have sold with postive reaction. But they don't print what I'mlooking for - playing cards.... sigh

LadySilverMage, Try Strine for printing cards. They are THE largest card printer in the nation. Mr Strine is a DOLL to talk to. THey have no minimum print runs and they will walk you step by step through the process. Most other card printers have a 1000-5000 DECK minimum. Only want one deck? They are fine with that. On another note AVOID Carta Mundi. Mike Szul is a complete asshole.
