Hi,
Little story?

Ok, I purchased Vue4 with this offer for Poser users:
http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/poser5offer/
In that order I want purchase Mover4 too, but I can't, the store software say I need a Vue4 serial! Ok so I wait a whole week Vue has shipped to me. After Vue4 arrived on Saturday I go to e-on store and purchased Mover4 too. But I get no Mover4 serial number in that order process; I must wait to Monday the customer service sends it to me! Ok I installed Vue4 and Mover4 and want import a poser scene. Now the best of all the software say I have no correct Poser5 serial number! I cannot believe that! Is e-on paranoid company?

"no correct Poser5 serial number!" No I think it is poser with the problem. Make sure you update Vue to 4.2 and make sure Poser is not running when you do that. This serial number hell is irritating to say the least. That part of the program needs a bit more work I think. There is more questions about that here than any other problem. See for yourself, do a search.

The version I get from e-on is already 4.2. On weekend I imported some Poser5 scenes without problem (no animations)! But after I installed Mover4 it says no correct Poser serial??? Poser is not running when I use Vue. Mazak

See these threads: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1386354 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1471841 I don't know what the problem is for sure. The search here sucks big time. Like how am I suppose to search for threads with the same problem as you are having that's probably been asked 1000 times already on this forum? I think you need to get hold of E-On. See what I mean, serial number hell! Like this has been going on now since Poser 4 was able to be imported in Vue. Years.

I found a solution yesterday night after I waste so much time with installation. The version on CD is 4.2 but the Mover4 plug-in 'Downgrade' the files to 4.12!! I reinstalled the Vue4 files over and now it work correct. I hope someone from e-on read this and kick ass the customer support, to update their Mover4 files to correct version!! Mazak

Heh. I think E-on is in the middle of bobble season; they have Vue4 upgrades, Mover4 upgrades, VuePro and new release bugs, 'How the hell did -that- build get on the gold?!' issues with Pro, Mover 5 in process, and Ghu only knows what else.

Now now now be nice.... But it is funny that blame game. Send er a link to this post. Maybe you can make some cash on your found solution. Patent it ! Profit ! Oh hey I got a even better one. Got a error on install of new sound card. ntkern.dll running windows 98 wrote Creative. Got back You have NT files mixed up somehow on your winders 98 box ! ntkern.dll is the keyboard driver and is installed in all windows operating system since at least win 95. That was not the problem the problem was a old legacy driver by Creative which I deleted and the card still works just fine.

It's actually ntkern.vxd. Depending on you keyboard.

Hi Mazak, Do you know the story of the rabbit that goes in a delicatessen and ask for 2 breads?

I have another problem, after installed Mover 4 with Vue 4.2 in MacOs X I can't open Vue.

After all the mess with installations my Vue4 did work. I also rendered my first animation via network and rendercow. RenderCow installation was a little bit tricky; problems with wrong port number and firewall ect... But now all work fine. :) Mazak
